On The Eve of Giving...
Sadly 1 in 3 children in Greater Manchester are living in poverty and will likely wake up Christmas morning without a gift.
To help, Cash for Kids launched 'Mission Christmas' with a mission to collect new and unwrapped gifts for local children. Last year, they brought the magic of Christmas to 35,746 children who would of otherwise woken up to no gifts off Santa.
The sad news is that they had over 65,000 request for toys. That's why we wanted to help this year by launching the Gingerbread House.
What's the Gingerbread House?
From early December, the merry elves of Oast transformed our outside bar into a Gingerbread House and organised a 'Mission Christmas Drop Off' where people were invited to bring along a toy to to the house until 16th December (they also received a yummy gingerbread treat from Zara Cakes, Manchester!)
We're delighted to annouce that so far we have collected an amazing 60 toys for the charity.

We were so excited to be involved this year and with your help, we've made a real difference!
It's not goodbye for now
Our outdoor bar will be decorated in gingerbread delights right through January, serving up the usual drinks plus our limited edition Seasonal Showstoppers.
